Cacao Beans are the incredibly nutritious and delicious source of chocolate, in its pure and unadulterated form. Our 100% organic, authentically raw, wild and sustainable Cacao Beans are grown on the remote island of Bali in an eco-friendly manner. The Cacao pods are harvested and allowed to continue ripening in the pod before they are cracked and the pulp is washed from the beans. Most Cacao Beans marketed as “raw” are actually fermented so not truly raw. The beans are slowly dried in dehydration machines that never reach temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius. This optimal drying method does not require high heat or chemicals, or involve taste altering smoke or oils. These harvesting and cold processing methods result in Truly Raw Cacao Beans that are clean and alive!
