Air Classifier

 

Operating principle:

Classifier, together with cyclone separator, bag filter and radial fan, forms a closed loop system of powder classification. Under the suction force of radial fan, feed materials are brought with uprising air stream into classifying chamber from feed inlet of classifier. Under strong centrifugal forces of high-speed rotating turbo wheels, coarse and fine materials are separated. Coarse materials, together with some fine materials, lose speed after bumping against wall and fall to secondary draught. Because of the strong washing of the secondary air flow , coarse and fine materials are separated once again. Fine materials go up to classifying cavity to be classified continuously, while coarse powders fall down to discharging outlet and come out or go back to mill.

 

Performances and features:

- Suitable for accurate particle classification of dry micro-products with spherical, needle-like or flake shape and different densities.

- Particle size adjustable between d97: 2um and d97: 150um.

- Classifying rate can reach 60%-85%. The better the fluidity is, the higher the classifying efficiency, otherwise it will be lower.

- Horizontal classifying turbo-wheel, high rotating speed, accurate top point cutting.

- To connect with ball mill, vibration mill and rolling mill to form a closed circuit.

- With SCADA and programmable control system, real-time operation status and simple operation.

- Operate under negative pressure. Dust emission from exhaust air less than 40mg/m3. Noise from exhaust air is lower than 75dB (A) through silencer.

Operating principle:
