Kayu Jawa is a blend of Eastern and Western cultures and expertise. Our senior administrators are from both of these areas of the world and have extensive business experience in Indonesia. Our prime objective is to become known as a trusted manufacturer and supplier of quality solid wood furniture products, offered worldwide at competitive prices. Our furniture is fashioned in Western designs, and our quality control and supervisory personnel have a great deal of experience in working with our products.
During our more than 7 years in the business we have developed and maintained excellent working relationships with our suppliers and craftsmen resulting in a harmonious business environment and a high standard of quality.
Pine, Mango, Mahogany, Teak and other indigenous woods and fibers are crafted into furniture and accessories in our own workshops. Our wood is dried to 10 percent moisture content, we use cross-pegged and glued mortise and tenon type construction on our frames, tops are internally finger-jointed and all drawers are on runners and dovetailed. Our products are offered in various finishes of stains, paints, distressed, and hand-painted motif patterns.
We currently export furniture to the USA, UK, Ireland, Canada and Australia. We operate in 7000 square meters of workshop, production, showroom and office space and employ a work force of more than 100 people.
We are sensitive to and concerned with empowering sustainable living, and we make every effort to ensure that all wood used for the production of our products is certified by the Indonesian Forestry Commission. This wood comes strictly from plantation trees, and so does not lead to the depletion of rain forests.
