The majority of Bear Tex (non-woven) products consist of a non-woven web of nylon fibres impregnated throughout with abrasive grains and bonded with resin. This structure produces a three dimensional abrasive product with a unique cushioning action.
The dispersion of abrasive grains throughout the web provides a continuous supply of new abrasive grains as the old grains and fibre are worn away with grinding use.
Since Bear Tex products are not designed for stock removal, it is often said that Bear Tex products begin where conventioal abrasives leave off.

The term Super abrasives collectively refers to the Diamond and Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) abrasives used in grinding wheels.
Diamond is the hardest material known and CBN is the second hardest. Becasue of their high hardness, abrasion resistance and other unique properties, these materials find extensive use in a variety of applications. Super abrasives wheels are made in a variety of sizes and shapes. Typically, diamond is used on all non-ferrous applications and CBN is used as an abrasive for ferrous materials.
