|AK-8803 foam stabilizer is a newly developed silicon-carbon bond basednon-hydrolytic foam stabilizer with high activity. It is a copolymer of polysiloxaneand polyether. Its special molecular structure exhibits various superior properties and is particularly suitable for polyurethane foaming system with HCFC-141b andpantane isomers as blowing agent.|
|1.AK-8803 is soluble in all common types of polyether polyols used in polyurethane rigid foam productions. Thus, it is ideal for systems demanding a high fluidity material such as production systems for refrigerator, freezer, polyurethane foam sheet and heat insulation for pipes.|
2.In the foaming system with HCFC-141b as blowing agent, HCFC-141b has relatively good compatibility with polyether polyols. Thus, a foam stabilizer with strong nucleus ability is required. Due to its special molecular struture, AK-8803 exhibits an excellent nucleus ability and very fine cellular struture could be produced. As a result, the thermal conductivity is significantly reduced AK-8803 brings very good fluidity during the entire foaming process in the reaction system. The homogeneous density distribution of the polyurethane foam structure can be obtained. AK-8803 also demonstrates superior foam stabilizing effect and significantly minimize the shear line phenomenon (the appearance of large voids under foam surface). It is a ideal stabilizer for non-fluorocarbon premixed polyols.
3.The recommended concentration of AK-8803 is around 2% of polyol.
|1.It must be sealed in dry place, and does not store under extreme heat and coldenvironments. Shelf life is 12 months.|
2.The freezing point of the prouduct is under 10. It does not matter if the product becomes turbid at low temperature. It will become transparent again ifheated to room temperature.
3.It is soluble in water and it can be washed away by water.
