Specifications

The RF-3164-AT122 UHF dismount antenna is a linearly polarized, center-fed dipole antenna

The RF-3164-AT122 UHF dismount antenna is a
linearly polarized, center-fed dipole antenna for
use with the AN/PRC-117G(V)1(C) and
RF-7800M-MP Falcon III® Man pack transceivers.
The antenna is composed of an N-type connector,
matching network, flexible gooseneck and a
blade-style upper element. The flexible gooseneck
provides ideal antenna articulation without regard
to radio orientation during both static and dynamic
operation. If desired, the blade can be folded for
stowage.
The RF-3164-AT122 connects directly to the
high-band port of the Falcon III Man pack radios
via a custom N-type connector. Additionally, the
antenna may also be tethered to the rucksack or
side of the radio via a coaxial cable and N-type
connector to further isolate it from the other
antennas.

The Harris RF-3162 is an omnidirectional, vertically polarized antenna designed for operation

The Harris RF-3162 is an omnidirectional, vertically polarized antenna designed for operation while directly attached to the operators vest or rucksack. Using this antenna, a 1-kg 5 Watt handheld radio can achieve similar range performance as a traditional manpack radio with an integrated blade antenna. The RF-3162 has three parts: a multiband dipole antenna, a quick, reliable mounting assembly and a coaxial cable for radio connection. The operator has the option of folding the antenna (over the shoulder, for example) to keep it below helmet level. The flexible antenna body attaches to the soldiers clothing or web gear and adjusts to body shape or movement to remain comfortable. A short coaxial cable connects the antenna to the radio, allowing the radio to be carried in a holster, pocket, or vest pouch.
The RF-3162 is ground-independent (center-fed), and can be easily deployed in a variety of configurations. Use of the elevation kit, included, allows the antenna to be hoisted into trees or up masts to increase antenna height and extend the line of sight communication range while the radio remains on the ground or with the operator.
The antenna is optimized for modern soldier data transmission and minimizes the effects of electromagnetic interference from a PDA or laptop computer. When used with high-performance radios such as the Harris FALCON II® series, the RF-3162 becomes part of an exceptionally capable yet lightweight secure digital soldier
radio system.

The RF-3151-AT152 UHF manpack antenna is a
fat monopole-style antenna

The RF-3151-AT152 UHF manpack antenna is a
fat monopole-style antenna with gooseneck
articulation for use with the AN/PRC-117G(V)1(C)
and RF-7800M-MP Falcon III® manpack
transceivers. It connects directly to the low-band
port of the Falcon III manpack radios using a
custom TNC-style connector.
This linearly-polarized dismount antenna, which
has performance comparable to that of the Harris
nightstick antenna (part number 10369-0205),
achieves optimum effectiveness when it is
deployed vertically and mounted on the radio
chassis.
The flexible gooseneck used to orient the antenna
maintains the antenna position while mounted
to the transceiver during typical usage. This
includes static positions such as placement
of the radio at any inclination on the
ground or other surface, or dynamic
conditions such transport of the
radio and mounted antenna
by a soldier on the move.
