Silver - English Coffee Urn  

Coffee and Tea Service Five (5) piece sterling silver coffee pot, tea pot, creamer, sugar and waste bowl.

Five piece sterling silver coffee and tea service made by Durham Silver Company out of New York who were listed as silver manufacturers from 1950 to 1960.

Each piece is handsomely embossed with a finely proportioned repeating design of acantus leaves interspersed with stylized floral designs. The creamer and waste bowl have a gadroon border as do the domed lids which are topped with acanthus leaves and pineapple finials. The coffee and tea pots have ivory insulators on the handles which are chased with a floral design and acanthus leaves that is reflected on the spouts.
